One month!

So our little angel is already a month old...I can't believe it! Time has flown by so quickly and if the past 6 weeks are any evidence as to how fast time will fly as he grows up then we are in for a fast ride! I admit that at times I don't want him to grow up because he's so cute and small now but then I think of all the milestones he has in front of him and all the cute moments we are going to enjoy and I get excited for the months to come! So far he has learned that he loves to sleep on daddy's chest while being sung to and he loves playing with mommy and smiling while she makes funny faces. He also LOVES bathtime! I think we have a swimmer on our hands!
He is seriously so much fun and makes us laugh everyday. His smile brightens my day and melts my heart. We love our little angel!

Maternity Shots

Leith and I had the pleasure of doing maternity shots while I was pregnant with Isaiah. Our dear friend Amber is a photographer and has actually been capturing memories for us since we got engaged. She did our engagement photos as well as our holiday cards, this maternity shoot and she just did Isaiah's newborn photos last week. She is so creative and we have such a blast with her during every session. We are so glad that we took these pictures and are sure they will serve as a great memory as we look back in years to come.

happy 4th!

Isaiah spent his first 4th of July up in LA at grandma and grandpa's house. The weekend was full of food, laughs, and baby talk. My sister and nephews got to meet him for the first time as did my aunt, uncle, and cousin with her new baby boy Charlie (pictured above). It was definitely bittersweet for Leith and I as we drove back home to san diego and realized how much we miss our families and wish they could see Isaiah more often.
